Volkswagen ID. AERO Concept Car Coming In 2023

The Volkswagen ID. AERO concept car, more than 16 feet long with a range of more than 372 miles, will be positioned in the premium mid-size sedan segment as a preview of Volkswagen's electric vehicle family flagship. The ID. AERO will be the fourth fully-electric model series in China, with expected availability in the second half of 2023. It is expected that the production version of the ID. AERO for Europe will roll off the assembly line in the Emden plant in 2023. Following the ID.4, this model will be Volkswagen's next global car for Europe, China and the U.S.

2023 Nissan LEAF Starts At $28,895 Before Rebates

The all-electric 2023 Nissan LEAF now on sale nationwide, features a redesigned grille, front fascia and headlights, and optional 17-inch multi-spoke wheels and starts at $28,895 (including $1,095 destination and handling) for LEAF S with 40 kWh battery and an EPA estimated range of 149 miles and $36,895 for the LEAF SV PLUS with 60 kWh battery and an EPA estimated range of 212 miles. Qualified purchasers may be eligible for up to a $7,500 federal tax credit. All LEAF models feature Nissan's Safety Shield® 360 as standard equipment, inclusive of six active driver assistance technologies that can help drivers avoid or lessen the severity of a crash. SV PLUS models include ProPILOT Assist and Intelligent Around View Monitor®. The Leaf was first introduced in 2010.

Bentley Continental GT Mulliner

The Bentley Continental GT Mulliner, powered by a 650 horsepower 6.0 liter W12 engine with active torque vectoring via eLSD and electronic all-wheel steering, sits atop the recently launched S and Azure models, and the Speed as the fastest and most luxurious member of the Continental range. Available as both a coupe and a convertible, and the Continental GT Mulliner V8 remains available.

2023 Hyundai Palisade Refreshed, Adds XRT Trim

The 2023 Hyundai Palisade flagship SUV, powered by a 291 horsepower 3.8L V6 GDI engine mated to an 8-Speed Automatic SHIFTRONIC® transmission, gets new front and rear bumper fascia, front grille, headlamps and daytime running lights, multi-spoke alloy wheel design, auto-dimming outside mirrors. Starting at $39,245 (including $1,295 freight charges), the Palisade adds a new XRT model to complement the existing Santa Fe and Tucson XRT models. New convenience technologies include 12-inch Navigation, Wi-Fi Hotspot, digital key 2 touch, Bluelink features and driver’s Ergo-Motion Seat. 

2023 Kia Seltos Adds Features

The 2023 Kia Seltos adds Blindspot Collision Avoidance-Rear and Rear-Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance to the S FWD and S AWD trim levels. 

2023 Subaru Ascent Gets Updated For This Fall

The 2023 Subaru Ascent, with 8-person seating or available captain’s chairs in the second row for 7-person seating, is available in Base, Premium, Onyx Edition, Limited, and Touring trim levels, and gets a redesigned front and updated Konoji (C-shaped) taillights. The Ascent is powered by a 260 horsepower 2.4-liter turbocharged SUBARU BOXER® engine with Subaru’s high-torque Lineartronic® CVT (continuously variable transmission) featuring an 8-speed manual mode function and steering wheel paddle shifters allowing up to 5,000-lb.towing capacity with standard Trailer Stability Assist. On all 2023 Ascent models, a newly standard tablet-style 11.6-inch Full HD center information display. On models equipped with Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, EyeSight includes Automatic Emergency Steering with the Pre-Collision Braking System to help steer the vehicle to avoid a collision when travelling at speeds less than 50 mph. 2023 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet America For $186,370

The new 2023 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet America, powered by a 473 horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter boxer six-cylinder engine, will reach showrooms in late 2022 as part of the 2023 model year. A very limited number will be created, making this one of the rarest Type 992 models. The starting MSRP is $186,370 (including $1,450 for delivery, processing, and handling). Including the extended interior package, MSRP is $193,880.

Bentley Flying Spur S Debuts With V8 or Hybrid Powertrain

The new Bentley Flying Spur S, offers a 542 horsepower 4.0-liter V8 engine or V6 Hybrid powertrain capable of up to 26 miles in pure electric drive.

2023 Subaru Crosstrek Starts At $24,870 This Summer

The 2023 Subaru Crosstrek, available in Base, Premium, new Special Edition, Sport, and Limited trims, is powered by a 152 horsepower 2.0-liter 4-cylinder SUBARU BOXER® engine offered with either a standard 6-speed manual transmission or optional Lineartronic® CVT (continuously variable transmission). The Crosstrek Hybrid plug-in SUV achieves up to 17 miles of pure electric driving as well as delivering an EPA-rated 35 MPG/90 MPGe and 480-mile total range. The 2023 Crosstrek Base trim has a starting price of $24,870 (including $1,225  destination & delivery. Priced at $38,070, the Crosstrek Hybrid qualifies for a $4,502 Federal tax credit and certain states offer rebates of up to $1,500. Both models will begin arriving at Subaru retailers this Summer.  

2023 Nissan Altima With New Styling Goes On Sale This Fall

The 2023 Nissan Altima, powered by a 188 horsepower 2.5-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder direct injection engine or a 248 horsepower 2.0-liter Variable Compression Turbo equipped with a standard Xtronic transmission, has new front end styling, a new 12.3-inch HD color display with multi-touch control, Nissan Door-to-Door Navigation system, Android Auto™, wireless Apple CarPlay®, wireless phone charging pad and WiFi hotspot. 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB Starts At $55,550 This Summer

The all-new 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQB all- electric compact SUV include the 225 horsepower EQB 300 4MATIC and the 288 horsepower  EQB 350 4MATIC fitted with a lithium-ion battery with a maximum voltage of 420 V and, with a nominal capacity of around 190 Ah, has a usable energy content of 66.5 kWh. Arriving in U.S. dealerships this Summer, the 2022 EQB 300 4MATIC will start from $55,550 (including $1,050 destination and delivery charge) and the EQB 350 4MATIC is priced from $59,100. 

Polestar 3 SUV Coming Next Year

Polestar, the Swedish electric performance car company, plans to launch a new car every year for the next three years, starting with Polestar 3 SUV, and aims to increase its presence to at least 30 global markets by the end of 2023. Production is expected to begin in early 2023, and Polestar 3 will be manufactured in the United States and China.

New Mercedes-Benz GLC

The new Mercedes-Benz GLC mid-size SUV, with a redesigned front end, with headlamps that connect directly to a new radiator grille, has a length of 185.7 inches, it is 2.4 inches longer and 0.16 inches lower than its predecessor with the width the same at 74.4 inches. The new GLC is available as a mild hybrid with 48-volt technology and an integrated starter-generator. The new GLC is available with a new panoramic sunroof as an optional extra.

2023 BMW X1 xDrive28i

The new 2023 BMW X1 xDrive28i, powered by a 241 horsepower 2-liter TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder engine mated exclusively to a new 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission, has grown in length by 1.7 inches to 177.2, 0.9 inches in width to 72.6 inches, and 1.7 inches in height to 64.6 inches.

2023 Lexus RX Coming At End Of 2022

The fifth generation 2023 Lexus RX 350 is powered by a 2.4L turbocharged inline-4 engine and the RX 350h (AWD) has a front unit that integrates a fourth-generation large-capacity hybrid system with a high-torque 2.5L inline-4 engine. The RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid vehicle details for the U.S. market will be shared at a later time. The Lexus RX 500h F SPORT Performance (pictured above) utilizes a new hybrid electric system with a front unit that integrates a high-torque 2.4-liter turbo engine, six-speed automatic transmission, inverter and an electric motor, with an eAxle rear unit. The 2023 RX is expected to go on sale at the end of 2022.

New 2023 BMW 3 Series Coming In July

The new 2023 BMW 330i is powered by a 2-liter TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder engine mated to an 8-speed Sport Automatic transmission, the 330e remains the plug-in hybrid and the new BMW M340i (above) and M340i xDrive get a 3-liter TwinPower Turbo inline-6 enhanced with 48V mild hybrid technology. All are available with optional xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive. The new BMW Operating System 8 offers navigation, infotainment, and communication functions, as well as digital services. The BMW Curved Display comprises a 12.3-inch information display and a control display with a screen diagonal of 14.9 inches along with the Intelligent Personal Assistant use touch control and natural speech. Vehicles for the U.S. market will be built exclusively in BMW’s newest plant in San Luis Potosí, Mexico with U.S. market launch to commence in July.

Genesis GV60 Starts At $59,980 Now

The Genesis GV60, the brand’s first fully electrified vehicle, offers features including Face Connect to lock or unlock its doors without a key by recognizing the driver's face and a fingerprint authentication system that allows drivers to start and drive the car without the need to carry a key. Initially, the 2023 Genesis GV60 will only be sold at select Genesis retailers in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York. The 2023 Genesis GV60 314 horsepower Advanced AWD, with an all-electric range of 248 miles, has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $59,980 (including $1,090 freight) and the 429 horsepower Performance AWD with a more powerful front electric motor and a 235 mile range has a price of $68,980. Later this year, Genesis will begin production of the Electrified GV70 SUV. Genesis Motor America has announced the start of sales.

2023 Nissan Z Starts At $41,015 This Summer

The 2023 Nissan Z, powered by a 400 horsepower 3.0-liter V6 twin turbo engine and offered in Sport and Performance grade levels with a “Proto Spec” edition limited to 240 units for the U.S., starts at $41,015 (including $1,025 destination and handling) for the Z Sport and $51,015 for the Z Performance. Both grades are scheduled to arrive at Nissan dealerships nationwide in Summer 2022.

2023 Lexus UX 250h Goes On Sale This Summer

The new 2023 Lexus UX 250h features the new Lexus Interface multimedia system with a standard 8-inch or optional 12.3-inch touch display mounted closer to the driver, the wireless charging space has been vertically extended and LED lighting has been added at the top for improved usability. Two USB charging connectors have also been added in the front of the console. The UX, only available with a hybrid powertrain in the U.S., will be on sale in late Summer 2022.

2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Starts At $38,290 In 2nd Half 2022

The 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle), with seating for seven in three rows, is equipped with a new generation of Mitsubishi Motors' twin-motor 4WD PHEV system. The 2022 model starts at $38,290 (including $1,295 destination/handling charge). The main drive battery capacity was increased for model year 2021 from 12.0 kWh to 13.8 kWh, resulting in an increased all-electric range of 24 miles, up from 22 for 2018-2020 models. The 2023 Outlander PHEV is scheduled to go on sale in the second half of 2022.

2023 Subaru Legacy Gets New Front Look This Fall

The 2023 Subaru Legacy midsize sedan, powered by a Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive 182 horsepower 2.5-liter engine paired with Subaru’s Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable transmission) featuring an 8-speed manual mode function with steering wheel paddle shifters, receives a redesigned front fascia and EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology as standard. The 2023 Legacy is available in Base, Premium, Sport, Limited, and Touring XT trim levels, with the Sport and Touring XT trim levels coming standard with the 260 horsepower 2.4-liter turbo BOXER engine. The top-level Touring XT adds a Wide-Angle Mono Camera that expands the field of view even further to recognize pedestrians and bicycles sooner. The 2023 Legacy arrives in Subaru retailers this Fall.

2023 Cadillac Escalade-V Starts At $149,990 Late Summer

The 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V is powered by a 682 horsepower a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission calibrated for the Escalade-V full-time active all-wheel-drive system and comes with a standard curved OLED with 38 inches of total diagonal display with twice the pixel density of a 4K television. The 2023 Escalade-V goes on sale late this Summer, with a starting MSRP of $149,990 (including destination charge). An Escalade-V ESV version is also available.

2023 Toyota Highlander Gets A Turbo Four-Cylinder Engine

The 2023 Toyota Highlander gets a 265-horsepower, 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a 17 percent increase in torque over the previous 3.5-liter V6 engine equipped to tow up to 5,000-pounds and include Trailer Sway Control, which uses the Vehicle Stability Control with a manufacturer-estimated 24 MPG combined while the Highlander Hybrid gets a 36 combined MPG manufacturer estimated rating. New dual 12.3-inch screens are in Limited and Platinum models and the XLE and XSE grades join the Limited and Platinum in featuring the hands-free power liftgate. The 2023 Highlander Hybrid, offered in both FWD and AWD, combines a 2.5-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine with two electric motor-generators for 243 total system horsepower. 

2023 Range Rover Sport Starts At $84.350

The new 2023 Range Rover Sport, available in SE, SE Dynamic and Autobiography specifications, is offered in a P440e with an extended Electric Hybrid powertrain with an estimated range of 48 miles, a P360 with a 355 horsepower six-cylinder Ingenium gasoline engine or a P400 with a 434 horsepower 3.0 liter six-cylinder Ingenium gasoline engine with a 105kW electric motor and 31.8 kWh battery and an all-new 523 horsepower V8 Twin Turbo powertrain. Pure-electric propulsion will be introduced in 2024. All mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission and Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. The new Range Rover Sport is available to order now, priced from $84,350 (including $1,350 destination/handling) in the US. 

2023 Honda Odyssey Starts At $38,635 Later This Month

The 2023 Honda Odyssey, powered by a 280 horsepower V6 engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, offers a new Sport trim which includes a one-touch power moonroof with tilt feature, power tailgate with programmable height and an 8-way power adjustable front passenger seat. All 2023 Odysseys feature Honda Sensing® including Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow and Pedestrian Emergency Braking. Prices for the 2023 Odyssey EX start at $38,635 (including $1,295 destination and handling charge) and the new Sport trim starts at $42,505. The 2023 Odyssey gets the Honda Service Pass covering select factory-scheduled maintenance for 2 years or 24,000 miles.

2023 Volvo XC40 Recharge, XC40 Arrive Refreshed This Summer

The all-electric Volvo XC40 Recharge model and the XC40 will receive fresh styling updates, and the XC40 moves to all mild hybrid powertrain options and gains the new Google built-in infotainment system. The entire 2023 lineup of Volvo cars in the U.S. will consist of mild hybrid, hybrid or electric vehicles equipped with Google built-in. The 2023 Volvo XC40 lineup is in production now and will begin arriving in retailers this Summer. 

2023 Kia Soul Arrives Later This Summer

The new 2023 Kia Soul, powered by a 147-horsepower 2.0-liter inline four cylinder engine mated to an Intelligent Variable Transmission and offered in LX, S, EX, GT-Line, GT-Line Tech trimlines, will feature an all-new front fascia, new Daytime Running Lamps and turn signals, new available 17- and 18-inch alloy wheels and a redesigned rear fascia. Inside, a 10.25-inch (standard on all but LX trim) touchscreen with navigation. The Soul pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale date which is later this Summer.

The new 2023 BMW 7 Series has grown by 5.1 inches in length to 212.2, by 1.9 inches in width to 76.8, and by 2 inches in height to 60.8 on a wheelbase that is now 0.2 inches longer at 126.6. The new 2023 BMW 7 Series comes in a 740i powered by a 3-liter TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine that starts at $94,295 (including $995 destination), a 760i xDrive powered by a 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V8 mated to new eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission that starts at $114,595 and the i7 xDrive60 (pictured), featuring two electric motors with a combined output of 536 horsepower and 549 lb-ft of instantaneous torque with an estimated range of up to 300 zero-emission miles (according to preliminary BMW AG tests based on the EPA’s test procedure standards) that starts at $120,295 with the US market launch beginning in Q4 2022.

2023 Lexus RZ 450e Battery EV Arrives End Of 2022

The all-new 2023 Lexus RZ 450e, the luxury brand’s first global Battery EV (BEV), has a  current U.S. manufacturer-estimated range is up to 225 miles with 18-inch tires. The DIRECT4 all-wheel drive system controls front and rear drive force according to driving and road surface conditions. Available in the U.S. at a future date, the Lexus-first Steer by Wire system enables the electronic exchange of steering and road surface information between the steering control and tires via electrical signals, not mechanical linkage. The 2023 Lexus RZ 450e is expected to go on sale towards the end of 2022.

2023 Subaru BRZ Starts At $29,615

The 2023 Subaru BRZ, powered by a 228 horsepower 2.4-liter (naturally aspirated) SUBARU BOXER® engine paired with a six-speed close-ratio manual transmission or a six-speed electronic direct-control automatic transmission, is offered in Premium and Limited trim levels, with a starting price of $29,615 (including $1,020 destination and delivery). The 2023 BRZ Premium with optional automatic transmission is priced at $31,115. 

Genesis X Speedium Coupe Previews EVs To Come

The Genesis X Speedium Coupe, based on the Genesis X Concept, looks ahead to the next wave of EVs and highlighting Genesis’ future as a luxury electric vehicle brand becoming an all-electric car brand with a six-model lineup by 2030. Genesis announced that the Electrified Genesis GV70 will be its first vehicle produced in the U.S. at its manufacturing facility in Montgomery, Alabama, with production is expected to begin in December 2022.

Aston Martin DBX707 SUV Coming In 2nd Quarter

The new Aston Martin DBX707 SUV powered by a 707PS (697 horsepower) 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 mated to a 9-speed ‘wet clutch’ automatic transmission delivering a 0-62mph time of 3.3 seconds. DBX707 first deliveries are scheduled to begin during early Q2 2022.

Toyota bZ4X SUV Starts At $42,000 This Spring

The all-electric Toyota bZ4X SUV, 3.7 inches longer than the RAV4 and offered XLE and Limited grades. The 201 horsepower Front Wheel Drive has an EPA-estimated range rating of up to 252 miles delivering 131 MPGe city, 107 MPGe highway and 119 MPGe combined. The 214 horsepower All-Wheel Drive has an EPA-estimated range of up to 228 miles for 114 MPGe city, 94 MPGe highway and 104 MPGe combined. The bZ4X comes standard with a 12.3-inch widescreen Toyota Audio Multimedia system. The Toyota bZ4X SUV with “bZ,” standing for “Beyond Zero,” will have a starting MSRP of $42,000 this Spring. 

2023 Nissan LEAF Gets Refreshed

2023 Nissan LEAF, available in LEAF S and LEAF SV PLUS grade levels, gets a refreshed front grille, bumper molding and headlights that feature a new black inner finish. The 2023 LEAF S is equipped with a 40-kWh lithium-ion battery and 110-kW electric motor that delivers 147 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. The 2023 Nissan LEAF SV PLUS features a 60-kWh lithium-ion battery and a powerful 160-kW electric motor that produces 214 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. EPA range estimates for both models will be available closer to launch, however range is expected to be similar to 2022 models.

2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid Starts At $28,505 This Spring

2023 Honda HR-V Coming This Summer

The 2nd-generation all-new 2023 Honda HR-V, based on the 11th generation Honda Civic (powered by a 158 horsepower 16-Valve DOHC i-VTEC® In-Line 4-Cylinder engine or a 180 horsepower turbo-charged engine), is larger than its predecessor with a longer wheelbase and wider stance with a new grille and longer hood is set to launch this Summer.

Mercedes-AMG EQS Starts At $148,550 This Spring

The new Mercedes-AMG EQS, with an output of up to 649 horsepower and a boost function that provides up to 751 horsepower with AMG Performance 4MATIC+ variable all-wheel drive system, is based on the Mercedes-EQ and starts from $148,550 (including $1,050 destination and delivery charge). Like the EQS from Mercedes-EQ, the suspension of the new Mercedes-AMG EQS features a four-link axle at the front and a multi-link axle at the rear. The AMG RIDE CONTROL+ suspension is based on AIRMATIC air suspension combined with adaptive, electronically controlled adjustable damping together with rear-axle steering of up to 9-degrees as standard. The 2022 Mercedes-AMG EQS Sedan will arrive in U.S. dealerships in late Spring of 2022.
