The 2027 Chevrolet Trax, with an overall length of 178.6 inches, will has a new exterior design highlighted by a new grille, new wheel designs, all-LED taillamps and a redesigned liftgate. The front-wheel drive Trax is powered by a 137 horsepower 1.2-liter Ecotec Turbocharged 3-cylinder gas engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission delivering an EPA-estimated 30 MPG combined (28 City / 32 Hwy). The 2027 Trax will be offered in the entry-level Trax, RS and ACTIV trim levels. The 2027 Trax has larger screens with a standard 11-inch-diagonal driver information center and 11.3-inch-diagonal infotainment screen. Added safety features include Reverse Automatic Braking, Safety Seat Alert, Side Bicyclist Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Braking, Front Park Assist, Rear Seat Belt Indicator, and Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking. The Trax is slightly longer and wider than the Trailblazer, while the Trailblazer is taller than the Trax. The Trax and Trailblazer will be available at Chevrolet dealers in Spring 2027.
The 2027 Chevrolet Trailblazer is powered by a 155 horsepower turbocharged 1.3-liter three-cylinder engine offering front-wheel drive with a continuously variable transmission and all-wheel drive paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission (standard on the new Z71 trim, available on LT and RS). The Trailblazer has a new column-mounted shifter, a redesigned center console with more flexible storage, including cupholders that can be retracted to provide additional storage and the addition of HVAC vents for rear passengers as well.
