The 2027 Chevrolet Trax, with an overall length of 178.6 inches, will has a new exterior design highlighted by a new grille, new wheel designs, all-LED taillamps and a redesigned liftgate. The fully electric 2027 BMW iX4 50 xDrive, which comes standard with the M Sport package and full-length panoramic sunroof, has an output of 463 horsepower and offers a preliminary estimated range up to 428 miles and 400-kW DC fast charging, which can add up to 184 miles of range in just 10 minutes. The all-new, latest-generation battery contains lithium-ion cylindrical cells fitted in the high-voltage battery pack that achieve a 20% increase in volumetric energy density compared with the Gen5 tech’s prismatic cells. When plugged in to an 800V high-power charging station, it can be replenished to a range up to 184 miles in ten minutes and from 10 to 80% in 21 minutes. The BMW iX4 M60 xDrive, coming later in 2027, delivers 603 horsepower. The electrically excited synchronous motor uses a stator supplied with three-phase AC power to generate a rotating magnetic field and a rotor equipped with electrically excited electromagnets. There's a 17.9-inch Central Display with a free-cut design within BMW Panoramic iDrive. When equipped with the optional trailer tow hitch, the BMW iX4 can tow up to 4,400 lbs. The BMW iX4 50 xDrive is priced from $66,200 plus destination and handling. Production of the new BMW iX4 M60 xDrive will begin in March 2027 with its market launch will take place in stages.
The fully electric 2027 BMW iX3 M60 xDrive, with usable energy content of 112.2 kWh, uses one electric motor at the front axle and one at the rear for a total of 603 horsepower and comes standard with the M Sport package. The BMW iX3 M60 xDrive and BMW iX4 both measure 188.3 inches long, 74.6 inches wide, and 64.4 inches tall, with a 114.1-inch wheelbase. Customers will be able to order the BMW iX3 M60 xDrive from the end of January 2027 and production will begin in the Spring 2027.
The MINI Countryman Untamed Edition, a new, rugged and adventure-focused variant, has increased ground clearance, all-terrain tires, exclusive design features and intelligent MINI ALL4 all-wheel drive. In the US a standard factory-installed trailer hitch offers a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds. The 2027 MINI Countryman S ALL4 Untamed Edition will start at $45,250 (including $1,350 destination and handling charge) while pricing for the MINI Countryman SE ALL4 Untamed Edition will be announced at a later date. The 2027 Mitsubishi Eclipse Sportback all-new electric vehicle, offering up to 282 miles of range on a single charge from its 75 kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery, will launch in the U.S. in October, starting at $39,740 (including $1,995 destination fee). Grand Highlander engine choices are: a 265 horsepower 2.4-liter turbocharged engine, a 2.5-liter Hybrid model delivering 245 total system horsepower and the Hybrid MAX powertrain with a 362 total system horsepower. The 2.4-liter turbo gas models include LE, XLE, Limited and Platinum grades while Hybrid powered models are LE, XLE, Woodland Edition, and Limited grades with the Hybrid MAX Platinum grade. Front- or All-Wheel Drive is available based on grade and powertrain. Manufacturer-estimated fuel economy is 36 combined MPG on the Hybrid XLE FWD model and 34 combined MPG on the Hybrid LE, XLE, Woodland, and Limited AWD models.
