The new 2027 Mercedes‑Maybach S‑Class 4MATIC all-wheel drive sedan is powered by a 530 horsepower eight‑cylinder engine in the Mercedes‑Maybach S 580 and a 621 horsepower V12 engine in the Mercedes-Maybach S 680 in the U.S. and select other markets. The fourth generation MBUX infotainment system has a 14.4-inch central display and 12.3-inch passenger display beneath a seamless glass surface, from which the 12.3-inch driver display has a standard 3D instrument cluster. Two 13.1‑inch displays for the rear passengers have individually configurable remote controls for the MBUX Rear Seat Entertainment, climate control and power sunshades plus integrated cameras in the rear passenger displays support video conferencing. The MBUX Virtual Assistant has ChatGPT 4o, Microsoft Bing Search and Google Gemini. The new 2027 Mercedes-Maybach S‑Class arrives at U.S. dealerships in the second half of 2026.

2026 Lexus ES 350e, 500e BEVs Start at $48,795 in April
The eighth-generation Lexus ES now offers the front-wheel-drive 2026 Lexus ES 350e and all-wheel drive ES 500e battery-electric vehicles, in Premium and Luxury trims, with a 307-Mile EPA-Estimated total driving range rating and will be followed by a new ES 350h Hybrid for 2026. Both ES BEV models have a 74.7-kWh lithium-ion battery. The ES 350e has a single 221 horsepower permanent magnet synchronous electric motor powering the front wheel while the ES 500e includes the same 221 horsepower front motor as the ES 350e and adds a 118 horsepower permanent magnet synchronous electric motor to the rear axle for a combined net total output of 338 horsepower and DIRECT4 all-wheel drive. Every 2026 ES includes a new 12.3-inch driver Multi-Information Display, the latest Lexus Interface infotainment system with a 14.0-inch touchscreen, and the newest Lexus Safety System+ 4.0 active safety and convenience feature suite. The 2026 ES BEVs’ 3.1-inch-longer wheelbase and additional 2.2 inches of width, 6.5 inches in length, and 4.5 inches in height increases most interior space measurements. The 2026 ES 350e is expected to arrive in dealerships in April starting at $48,795 (including $1,295 Delivery, Processing, and Handling fee).

BMW i3 50 xDrive Coming This Fall
The first all-electric BMW 3 Series launches as the BMW i3 50 xDrive, with sixth-generation BMW eDrive technology with an electric motor on both the front and rear axles and 463 horsepower combined system power output. The new BMW i3 has an estimated range is up to 440 miles. Production of the new BMW i3 will start in August 2026. The first vehicles will be delivered in the Fall this year. One year later, the production portfolio will be switched to exclusively fully electric vehicles of the Neue Klasse.
2026 Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid Starts At $44,990 In May
The 2026 Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid, available in ES, SE, SEL and the new Black Edition trim levels, now has 297 horsepower total system horsepower and a new 22.7kW battery with 15% more capacity that provides 45 miles of all-electric range with MPGe increasing to 73. The combination of a new cooling system and improved thermal management deliver a 60% increase in power output. The 2026 Outlander Plug-in Hybrid will arrive in Mitsubishi Motors dealerships in early May starting at $44,990 (including $1,745 destination fee).

Mercedes-Benz VLE With 434 Mile Range
The all-new electric Mercedes-Benz VLE, with seating for up to eight people, has 434 miles of range. On long journeys the VLE can be recharged for a range of up to 220 miles within 15 minutes, with 800-volt technology and a new battery with a usable energy content of 115 kWh. The new Roll & Go concept allows customers to manually move and fold the seats and benches forward and backward with minimal effort, then lock them in place in any position. The VLE has AIRMATIC air suspension with 1.5 inches of level control and seven-degree rear-axle steering, Globally, the first model to roll out is the VLE 300 electric with 203 kW followed by the VLE 400 4MATIC electric with 305 kW which will be the top-of-the-range performance version.
2026 Cayenne S Electric Starts At $128,650 End Of Summer
The new 2026 Cayenne S Electric, positioned between the Cayenne Electric and the top-of-the-range Cayenne Turbo Electric, features an additional 221 horsepower of power compared to the standard model. The drive system has permanent magnet synchronous motor on both front and rear axles delivering a system output of 536 horsepower or up to 657 horsepower with Launch Control. Optional equipment includes Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, Porsche Active Ride suspension, high-performance Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake system with yellow-painted brake calipers and the Sport Chrono Package. Included with the Sport Chrono package is the Push-to-Pass function, that when activated, delivers up to an additional 120 horsepower of power for up to 10 seconds. The built-in Track mode optimizes performance on track through targeted pre-conditioning of the battery. The 2026 Cayenne S Electric is available to order now starting at $128,650 (including $2,350 delivery, processing and handling fee) with deliveries expected to begin at the end of Summer 2026.
