Audi Q9 and SQ9 Coming In The 4th Quarter

The Audi Q9 seven passenger SUV, the most spacious Audi to date, will be available, at launch, with a 429 horsepower twin turbo 2.9-liter V6 engine equipped with an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive as standard. The Audi Q9 measures 209 inches on a wheelbase of 123.5 inches. In the seven-seat layout, the second row is designed with a 35/30/35 split and thanks to the long wheelbase of 123.5 inches the third row provides ample space for adults.The optional six-passenger layout with power-adjustable second-row captain’s chair seats prioritizes business-class-like comfort. The MMI panoramic display, with a curved design and OLED technology, comprises the 11.9-inch Audi virtual cockpit and the 14.5-inch MMI touch display. The SUV will be available at dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2026, with a starting MSRP of $87,700. The new Audi Q9 will be available at U.S. dealers later this year.

The Audi SQ9 is powered by a 591 horsepower 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 engine paired with an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission and Audi quattro with electronically controlled rear-axle differential lock. The SQ9, like the Q9 offers heavy-duty towing capability of 7,700 pounds. Whether in six- or seven-seat configuration, the power-adjustable seats can tilt forward, even with unoccupied front-facing child seats installed, providing unobstructed access to the third row. The seven-seat configuration for the SQ9 offers three mounting points for LATCH child seats in the second row and two mounting points in the third row as well. With an overall length of 208.9 inches, the SQ9 provides 19.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, expanding to 87.7 cubic feet with the second and third row seats folded. U.S. deliveries are set to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, with pricing starting at $118,000 for the SQ9.
