2024 GMC Canyon AT4X AEV Edition Can Be Ordered Later This Year


The 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X AEV Edition, with additional 1.5-inch lift, 12.2-inch ground clearance, 35-inch tires and upgraded hardware, has previously been powered by either a 308 horsepower 3.6L V-6 engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission or a 181 horsepower 2.8L Turbo-Diesel with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The GMC Canyon AT4X AEV Edition can now achieve a 38.2-degree front approach angle, a 26.9-degree breakover angle and an optimized 26.0-degree departure angle. The 2024 Canyon AT4X AEV Edition is expected to be available for customer orders later this year.

2015 GMC Canyon Pickup Truck Coming This Fall


The 2015 GMC Canyon pickup truck, offered in base, SLE and SLT models, in 2WD and 4WD models, and with an All-Terrain package offered on SLE models, comes with a standard estimated 193 horsepower 2.5L I-4 engine or an available estimated 302 horsepower from 3.6L V-6 engine offering a payload of at least 1,450 pounds and a trailering rating (when properly equipped) of at least 6,700 pounds. A Duramax 2.8L turbodiesel engine is coming in the 2016 model year. GMC will continue to work on and develop the Canyon until the start of production this Fall.

2017 GMC Canyon Adds Denali and All Terrain X Models


The 2017 GMC Canyon lineup adds a new range-topping Canyon Denali, with chrome exterior details and unique wheels, and new off-road-inspired All Terrain X, both powered by a new 308 horsepower 3.6L V-6 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The All Terrain model features like off-road suspension and transfer case shield and Hill Descent Control, along with an optional 2.8L Duramax turbo-diesel engine available. The 2017 model year updates, including the new V-6 and eight-speed combination, will arrive at dealerships in the fourth quarter of this year.

2015 GMC Canyon Starts At $21,880 This Fall

The all-new 2015 GMC Canyon mid-size pickup with a 200 horsepower 2.5L I-4 Direct Injected engine will start at $21,880 (including a $925 dealer freight charge) when it arrives in dealerships this Fall. Available options include the 3.6L V-6 engine with direct injection and variable valve timing, a six-speed automatic transmission, Bose premium seven-speaker audio system, and the GearOn™ accessory system.

The SLE trim level starts at $27,520 (2WD extended cab) and a 4WD Canyon SLT crew cab short box model starts at $37,875, and includes the 305 horsepower 3.6L V-6 engine, leather-appointed seating, automatic climate control, 18-inch polished cast-aluminum wheels, remote start and an automatic locking rear differential.

GMC Canyon AT4 OVRLANDX concept truck, powered by GMC’s 3.6L V-6 engine mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission, boasts a 27.7-degree approach angle and a ground clearance of 10.0 inches, boosted by 33-inch BFGoodrich KM3 Mud-Terrain tires on 17-inch AEV Crestone wheels. The vehicle could engage in water fording up to 32.1 inches, and its custom-tailored snorkel could allow for filtered and cooler air intake..

2017 Chevrolet Colorado Adds New Engine In The 4th Quarter


The 2017 Chevrolet Colorado, like its GMC Canyon sibling, offers an all-new 308 horsepower V-6 engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Active Fuel Management (cylinder deactivation) which disables two cylinders under light throttle applications. It is the latest major update for Colorado, which entered the market for model year 2015. The 2017 model year updates, including the new V-6 and eight-speed combination, will arrive at dealerships in the fourth quarter of this year.

GMC AT4 Models Available Across SUV Lineup


GMC premium off-road AT4 models will be available across its entire retail lineup in 2020 with the addition of the 2021 Terrain AT4, Canyon AT4 and 2021 Yukon AT4.

Sierra AT4 offers a 2-inch factory lift, skid plates, Rancho® monotube shocks, a standard MultiPro Tailgate, available Carbon Fiber Bed and available Mud-Terrain tires. Sierra HD AT4 features an off-road suspension, skid plates, Rancho shocks®, a standard MultiPro Tailgate and up to 15 camera views* that helps trailering, visibility over rough terrain and in tight corners.

Acadia AT4 features an Advanced Twin-Clutch AWD System, all-terrain tires and Traction Select with Off-Road Mode. Canyon AT4, available this Spring, comes standard with off-road tuned suspension, an automatic locking rear differential and 31-inch Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac® tires. Yukon AT4, available this Summer, offers air suspension with 4 inches of adjustability, an electronic limited-slip differential and a 15-inch head-up display. Terrain AT4 will be available this Fall.
